Last November saw the conclusion of the fundraising campaign for the "100% Bioplastics" project launched through the Bicocca University Crowdfunding initiative on the Produzioni dal Basso platform. Thanks to the support of 114 supporters and the co-financing of Corepla - the national consortium for the collection, recycling and recovery of plastic packaging - Galatea Biotech managed to exceed its target of 10,000 Euro, raising a total of 12,238 Euro. The funds raised will make it possible to kick-start the project and create innovative compounds derived from freshly synthesised biomass to make plastics that are 100% biodegradable in all its components.
The Galatea Biotech team would like to thank all those who supported the project, showing their support and enthusiasm towards the realisation of a more sustainable bioplastic.
